Zener Cards Knowledge Base
Welcome to the Zener Cards Knowledge Base. Here you’ll find information about how to use the app effectively to develop and test your extrasensory perception (ESP) abilities.
What are Zener Cards?
Zener Cards were developed in the 1930s by psychologist Karl Zener in collaboration with parapsychologist J.B. Rhine for testing extrasensory perception (ESP). The deck consists of 25 cards with five different symbols: circle, cross, waves, square, and star. Our Zener Cards app brings this classic tool into the digital age, allowing you to practice and develop your ESP abilities anytime, anywhere.

Developing Your ESP
- Start with short sessions (5-10 minutes) and gradually increase
- Practice regularly at the same time each day
- Enter a relaxed, meditative state before testing
- Trust your first impression rather than overthinking
- Keep a journal of your experiences and results
- Notice patterns in your successful sessions
Interpreting Results
With five possible symbols, random guessing would yield approximately 20% accuracy:
- 20-25%: Within chance expectation
- 26-30%: Slightly above chance
- 31-40%: Noteworthy performance
- Above 40%: Significant indication of ESP ability
Look for patterns in your successful sessions to identify optimal conditions for your abilities.
