Due to the nature of Ghost Radio, it requires both ample amounts of processing power and memory in order to perform well.
On, high-end devices, like the Nexus 5 and comparable, the app should run without any performance problems.
If you feel that the app behaves sluggish, and/or the sound is disorted, make sure that you don't have any Battery Saving apps/features active, since these will generally degrades app performance on your device.
Ghost Radio also offers a
Low-end device mode, which
you can enable by following this guide:
Enable Low-end Device mode:1. Go to the
Settings Screen2. Navigate to the switch labeled
Low-end Device Mode and set it to
On.
3. Close the app with the
Exit App button on the
Settings Screen.
4.
Start the app again.
The app has now been started in a low performance mode, and will use less resources for the graphics and sound, which also consumes less battery. The latter makes this mode suitable for Ghost hunting trips out in the field even if you have a high-end device.
Disable Low-end Device mode:If you want to disable the Low-end Device Mode, just go to the Settings Screen and set the Low End Device switch to
Off, exit the app. The next time the app is started it will run using the regular performance settings.
