The speech to text translation doesn't fire up until the app has fully (100%)
calibrated itself.
Calibration is performed automatically each time the Radio is started and takes between 3-15 minutes depending on a number of factors, including the current environment and the type of device the app is running on. The calibration is represented by the colored bar that can be seen in the bottom om the Main TV Screen.
When it is full, text translations should appear as normal.
The app tries to translate all speech, but please note that not all speech can be translated to text. We are constantly working on improving this feature, and are hopeful that it will get better with each upgrade.
