All Categories > Refunds and Payments - Guide > I have issues with In-app purchases
Google Play
If you have purchased a product from within on of our apps and the app doesn't correctly activate your product:

First of all, ensure that you are logged into the Google Play store with the same Google user you used to purchase the product. All products are associated with the user that purchased it and cannot be shared or transferred between users. So for example, if you are using several different email addresses on your device, it is not uncommon that the one currently used in the Google Play app isn't the same that you used for your purchase from within the app. This is the most common issue related to In-app purchases on Google Play.

If that doesn't solve the issue the following Google Play guide is helpful in order to solve the issue:

It includes the following:
  • How to check if the payment was accepted.
  • How to check connectivity to the Internet.
  • How to perform a forced restart of the app.
  • How to update the Play Store app.
  • How to make sure that the time and date is correctly set on your device.
  • How to restart the device.
In addition to that forcing a restart of the Google Play app as well as clearing the cache and data most often will solve the issue:

This step will stop the Play Store and clear data stored in a temporary area of device memory. This gives the app a fresh start and can help payments process properly. It won't delete any permanent files.

First, Force the Play Store to stop:

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open your device's Settings app Settings.
  2. Scroll down and tap Apps or Application manager (depending on your device, this may be different).
  3. Tap the Google Play Store Google Play.
  4. Tap Force stop.

Second, clear the cache and data for the Play Store:

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open your device's Settings app Settings.
  2. Tap Apps or Application manager.
  3. Tap Google Play Store Google Play.
  4. Tap Storage.
  5. Tap Clear cache.
  6. Tap Clear data.

Next, reopen the Play Store:

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Play Store app Google Play.
  2. Try your download again.
Refund your purchase
If none of the above helps, either you yourself or we can perform a full refund of your purchase. Please visit this guide related to refunds:
